Context & challenge
aboutchiro (formerly Hender Chiropractic) is an evidence-based chiropractic clinic operating in Berlin, Germany. In mid-2025, founder Matthew Hender was preparing to relocate the clinic to new premises — a natural inflection point to rethink the business's digital presence entirely.
The existing Squarespace site had served its purpose, but it wasn't built to grow with the business. More critically, the clinic serves a multilingual Berlin client base - a technical and structural requirement that Squarespace couldn't handle with any real elegance. A rebrand was underway, and the new site needed to reflect a more considered, professional identity while remaining simple for the team to manage independently.

Strategic Lens
A clinic in transition is exactly the moment to build infrastructure that lasts. Rather than a like-for-like migration, we approached this as a platform decision: what does aboutchiro need to be able to do in two years, not just two months?
Webflow's Localisation tool made it the clear choice — native bilingual support in German and English without the plugin complexity and maintenance overhead of a WordPress setup. The structural goal was a CMS-driven site that Matthew's team could genuinely own: updating services, team profiles, FAQs, and blog content without needing developer access for every change.
Design-wise, the brief called for clinical precision that didn't feel cold — reflecting aboutchiro's evidence-based approach while remaining approachable to new patients finding them for the first time.
Outcome
The new aboutchiro site launched in September 2025 to coincide with the clinic's move to its new Berlin premises — giving the practice a credible, professional digital front door at exactly the right moment. The bilingual platform now handles both patient audiences properly, and the CMS structure means the team can keep the site current as the clinic continues to grow.
