Sector

Allied health

Active Health Riverina is a growing allied health clinic offering Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Podiatry services across three locations. As the business expanded, their digital presence needed to better reflect the scale, structure, and professionalism of the clinic, while supporting both patient engagement and practitioner recruitment.

Context & challenge

The existing Squarespace website had become restrictive as the business grew. Adding new practitioners, services, conditions and content was clunky and time-consuming, with limited cohesion across the site. There was no clear differentiation between locations, the services offered at each, or the practitioners working across them. Booking journeys pushed users off-site without sufficient context, and the platform lacked the flexibility required to support future growth.

A simple redesign wouldn’t address these issues — the site needed a more robust and scalable foundation.

Strategic lens

We reframed the project as a scalability and content governance challenge, rather than a visual refresh. The priority was to create a flexible, CMS-driven structure that could clearly define locations, services and practitioners, while giving the internal team full control over ongoing updates.

A location-first CMS architecture was established, dynamically linking practitioners, services, conditions and recruitment content throughout the site. Deliberate decisions were made to avoid one-off pages and fragile templates, ensuring the platform could evolve without ongoing developer dependency.

Solution

Active Health Riverina was rebuilt in Webflow as a fully custom, CMS-driven platform. Interlinked CMS collections were created for locations, practitioners, services, conditions, blogs, jobs, testimonials and FAQs, forming a single source of truth across the site.

The design balances clarity for patients with a strong sense of culture for prospective staff, using team-led content, imagery and testimonials to communicate what it’s like to work at Active Health. Filtering and structured templates allow the team to safely manage a large and growing content set without breaking the site.

Outcome

The new website delivers clearer service and location differentiation, improved practitioner discovery, and easier booking journeys supported by contextual content. Internally, the platform has significantly reduced admin effort and provided the Active Health team with a scalable system they can confidently manage.

While still early post-launch, the site now provides a future-ready foundation to support ongoing content growth, recruitment, and performance optimisation as the business continues to scale.
